Mahmoud discovered that his wife was cheating on him

Mahmoud discovered that his wife was cheating on him and that the two boys he had raised were not his biological children. Mahmoud, a man in his fifties, worked as a taxi driver. He had a strict daily routine; he would leave for work after the dawn prayer, finish his shift before sunset to pray at the mosque, and then return home to care for his children and provide them with a suitable study environment.

One day, his wife called him and told him she would be hosting her neighbors, asking him to stay out a little longer and spend time with his friends or at a café. He decided to continue working until she called him. Around 10:30 PM, Mahmoud was about to finish his work when a woman carrying a bag signaled for a ride. He asked the passenger he was carrying if he minded taking her, and the passenger agreed.

When the woman reached the bus station, she got out, and after Mahmoud drove away, he heard the sound of a baby crying inside the car. He stopped the vehicle and opened the bag to find a newborn baby inside. He tried to return to the station to find the woman, but she had disappeared. Mahmoud was torn about what to do—whether to take the baby to the police or an orphanage—but he feared suspicion and decided to take the baby home instead.

When he told his wife about the incident, she exploded in anger and accused him of infidelity, assuming the baby was his from an illegitimate relationship. He tried to convince her to take care of the baby temporarily until he could find the mother, but she adamantly refused. Mahmoud decided to take a DNA test to prove his innocence. After providing the samples, he returned home, hoping his wife would accept the situation.

The next day, he noticed a woman watching him near the mosque. He ignored her at first, but when he saw her again, he decided to confront her. She admitted that she was the baby’s mother and that the child was the result of an illegitimate relationship with a man who had refused to marry her. Mahmoud asked her to wait until the DNA results were available.

Three days later, the test results arrived, confirming that Mahmoud was not the baby's father. Furthermore, the doctor informed him that he was completely infertile, which meant that the two boys he had raised were not his biological children. Mahmoud was devastated and struggled to comprehend the situation but ultimately decided to face reality calmly.

After much thought, he decided to marry the baby’s mother and raise the child with her. He wrote a letter to his ex-wife, attaching the test results that proved her betrayal, and left their home, heading to an unknown destination.

Several months later, Mahmoud received a court summons as his ex-wife was searching for him, but he refused to disclose his whereabouts for his own safety. He chose to start a new life with his new wife and their baby.
